Online Workshop on Cybersecurity

On September 29, the International Book Sector of the Regional Library held an online workshop on the topic "Cybersecurity". The event was timed to coincide with the International Day of Information Security. The online event attracted college students, future programmers, who learned about how it is possible and necessary to safely store information on a personal computer. Vladimir Malikov, IT teacher-programmer, volunteer of the American Corner, told in what ways personal computers and electronic storage media are hacked, how to avoid the loss of personal data. The audience had the opportunity to ask questions of interest found answers about the punishment for hacking, about the incognito mode, about what personal information can be available to everyone. The event made it possible to learn more about cyber security and precautions, which in the future will increase vigilance among users of electronic resources.
