Rural Library as a Socio-Cultural Centre

On November 16 specialists from the regional library visited the Aktogay CBS in order to provide methodological and practical assistance in updating the library documentation and familiarization with the Instruction on record keeping.

A workshop on bibliographic description of documents in accordance with GOST 7.1. -2003 "Bibliographic Record. Bibliographic description." was held, as well as a training on "Online services and applications", a methodical consultation and clarifications on completion of reporting forms of annual reporting, analysis of the most common errors in completing forms "1-Библиотека", "6НК".

A professional dialogue on attracting the modern reader to the library took place. Joint activities of the regional library named after S. Toraigyrov and the CBS of Aktogay region for 2023 were scheduled. Librarians of the district acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills, mastered the basic technological library processes.

Employees of the Aktogay District CBS who participated in the seminar were awarded certificates.
