The "Abai Kunanbayev" online lecture

This year marks the 175th anniversary of the birth of the great poet, enlightener, philosopher, composer, translator, politician, reformer Abai Kunanbayev. The Regional Library named after S. Toraigyrov offers readers a unique project “Abaimen seruen” (A walk with Abai). Within the framework of the project, Serik Yelikbay, candidate of philological sciences, professor of S. Toraighyrov PSU, poet, writer, literary critic conducted an online lecture.

S. Yelikbay spoke about the peculiarities of Abai’s poems, the versatility of themes, and the poetic traditions of Abai. An online lecture is posted on the library pages on social networks.
