"Between the Irtysh and Tobyl"
Pavlodar Regional Library named after S. Toraigyrov together with the Kostanai Regional Library named after L. Tolstoy has launched a new project. The project "Ertis pen Tobyl arasy" is dedicated to the development of literary continuity between the two regions, the development of youth creativity.
The meeting was online. The teleconference was attended by the directors of the Pavlodar and Kostanai regional branches of the Writers Union of Kazakhstan, members of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, representatives of the "Orken" club of young poets of the Pavlodar region and the Club of young writers of the Kostanai region.
The event was attracted: Honorary Citizen of Pavlodar and the Bayanaul District, winner of the Alash international literary prize Arman Kani, who in turn voiced problematic issues related to financing and publishing books, as well as the prospects for the development of literary relations. - Today's event will contribute to the development of literature in the region. Young people have freedom of speech. To strengthen literary ties in the regions, such new projects are needed,” said Arman Kani.
The director of the Pavlodar regional branch of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Zharkynbek Amantayily introduced the literary plans of Pavlodar Irtysh to those present.
In his speeches, the chairman of the Public Association “JEBE”, the editor-in-chief of the regional “Halyk Radiosy” Zhumabek Smanov, the prominent poet Kuanyshbek Sharmanov, the head of the Club of Young Poets “Orken”, the poet, translator Aibek Oralkhan acquainted the literary situation in the region.
Zhanuzak Ayazbekov, director of the Kostanay regional branch of the Writers Union of Kazakhstan, winner of the Shabyt international festival, poet Ablai Maudanov, voiced some problematic issues in the field of literature.
During the meeting, young poets of the two regions exchanged experiences.
Young poets and writers such as Asylbek Mart, Raushan Amangeldi, Amanzhol Bibala, editor of the Bayanaul “Bayantau” newspaper Elaman Kabdilashim, a poet from Aktogay Nukh Erbolat attended the meeting. We are sure that this project will be very fruitful!
