"Library Routes - 2021"

On February 15, the round table "Library Routes - 2021" was held with the heads of the region's CLCs on the results of work in 2021. Shahmetova S., the head of the Regional library named after S. Toraigyrov, determined the vectors of transformation of libraries of the Pavlodar region, A. Aksakova, specialist of the Department of culture, languages development and archival case noted the increasing role of libraries in the cultural policy of the Pavlodar region.

The head of the department of library development and the methodologist of the regional library conducted the analysis of the basic indicators of libraries, and suggested ways of attracting children and young people to the library. Colleagues from CBS Terenkol and Pavlodar region shared their experience of opening of communication centers in rural libraries.

Questions of acquisition of funds of the libraries of Pavlodar region with the editions of local authors were discussed by Zh.

As a result of the round table the following recommendations were made:
1. To work out the project on "Evening Library";
2. to update and intensify work with children and youth;
3. To develop a personnel strategy of the CLC, as one of the components of the image and the success of the strategic goals and mission of a modern library.
