Reading conference "Akhmet Baitursynly murasi-ult kazynasy" on the Collected Works in 12 volumes of Akhmet Baitursynov
On November 24, the S. Toraigyrov Regional Library held a reading conference on the multi-volume edition of Akhmet Baitursynov's "Collected Works" in 12 volumes. This is the first most complete collection of works in Kazakh and Russian.
This year was the 150th anniversary of Akhmet Baitursynov, the outstanding scientist, founder of modern Kazakh linguistics, literary criticism, publicist, teacher, translator and public figure, one of the leaders of the national liberation movement of the Kazakh people of the early 20th century, statesman, educator and member of the Alash executive.
One of the features of the publication is that a number of works in Kazakh are printed together with facsimiles. That is, the reader can read the text of a particular work in its original Arabic script.
The event was attended by a professor of the PPU named after A. Margulana Candidate of Philological Sciences Shakaman Yrysgul Bektemirkyzy, associate professor of the Higher School of Humanities PPU named after A. Margulana Candidate of Historical Sciences Kanafin Kanat Kinayatovich, students of the A.PPU Margulana, students of the Technical and Economic College and the Higher College of the M. Kanapyanov Vocational School.
