National Cuisine Day at the regional library
The national cuisine of the Kazakhs, like a mirror, reflects the soul of the people, their history, customs and traditions. The way of life of the people, their daily work, relationships between people, folk customs are clearly recognizable through the national cuisine, the reception and gift of guests. The features of the national cuisine were shown in the regional universal scientific library named after S. Toraigyrov on April 15 - National Cuisine Day, announced as part of the National Day - 15th of every month. On this day, an exhibition of dairy products was organized in the library. The following were presented to the general public: kumis, shubat, ayran, shalap, kozhe, sour cream, butter, cheese, cospa. At the exhibition “Bauyrsak - Kazakh national dish”, visitors tasted and tasted different bauyrsaks. Master classes were held on the preparation of “Nauryz kozhe” and “Zhent” products. Masters of industrial training from the Pavlodar College of Service and Nutrition showed the process of preparing the product “Zhent” - Kazakh chocolate. At the ethno-exhibition “Sheberdin koly - kopke ortak”, kitchen utensils and other works of the artisan Kainarbek Makhmet were presented, national products of the craftsman, which aroused great interest among young people .A book exhibition “Ulttyk kundylyktar - elimizdin rukhani kazynasy” was organized for visitors. About 50 publications were presented at the exhibition, revealing the secrets of Kazakh national cuisine: “Dastarkhan”, “Kazakh National Cuisine”, “National Cuisine Dishes”, color albums, etc. The event was attended by students of the Pavlodar College of Non-ferrous Metallurgy and the Pavlodar College of Service and Nutrition , guests and library readers.
