Evening meeting of generations "War through the Eyes of Eyewitnesses"

On May 6, on the eve of Victory Day, within the framework of the "Dialogue of Generations" project, readers of the S. Bayazitov Children's Reading Center visited the veteran of labor, home front worker Zagoichuk Alexandra Pavlovna, who shared with the children her memories of the harsh years of the Great Patriotic War, about her contribution to victory over the fascist invaders. Alexandra Pavlovna tells a story about the exhibits of her home museum: letters, documents, awards and household items of those years. Chekalova Sofia, Fomina Taisia and Fredina Angelina prepared small gifts and poems.

The purpose of the event is to foster a respectful attitude towards the defenders of the Fatherland, towards people of the older generation, towards veterans of the Great Patriotic War; the formation of patriotic feelings and consciousness among schoolchildren on the basis of the historical heritage of Kazakhstan.
