Gúl ǵumyr

Today, our library hosted a memorial evening “Gúl ǵumyr”, dedicated to the memory of Gulzat Meiramova, journalist and poet.

The event involved famous journalists and literary figures in the region. The honorary guests of the evening were Gulzat's relatives and friends, her former colleagues, as well as Arman Kani, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Writers 'Union of Kazakhstan, poet; Sotsial Aitenov, well-known Pavlodar television journalist; Zharkynbek Amantayuly, head of the regional branch of the Writers Union; prominent poets and journalists of the region - Aybek Oralkhan , Kuanyshbek Sharmanov, Alpysbay Honzh, Asel Zhaksybay, Maya Shuakbayeva, Asemgul Suyundykova, Aidan Ertay, and others. The deputy of the Regional Maslikhat Bakytbek Batkeyev and the director of the Grigoryevsky school, Koltay Kalekhan, shared their memories of her. Orazbek Sayakhat, journalist, poet, winner of regional and republican aitys conducted the evening.

The date of February 7 of the event was chosen for a reason – on February 9, Gulzat would have turned 33 years old. She had a rich poetic gift, was a talented and inquisitive journalist, and wrote sharp and interesting articles on a variety of topics. Her passing away has become an irreparable loss for family, friends, and colleagues. In the evening, warm words were heard about her, full of love and admiration, those who knew her shared touching memories, poets read her poems, and the talented artist Bakhtiyar Kozhanov sang the song “Baq qusy” to the words of Gulzat Meiramova.

The Pavlodar regional edition released a collection of poems by Gulzat Meiramova “Gúl ǵumyr”, this collection was distributed to relatives and friends at the event.
