Book exhibition "Eternal memory to the victims of the tragedy

The book exhibition "Eternal memory to the victims of the tragedy" opened in the regional library on the Day of memory to the victims of political repressions and Holodomor. At the exhibition were presented books, photos, documents and magazines about the tragic fate of the victims of political repressions. One of the sections of the book exhibition was devoted to the 150th anniversary of Akhmet Baitursynov, Kazakh poet, scholar-literary critic, teacher, public figure, one of the leaders of the national liberation movement "Alash".

Serik Toleubayevich Yelikbayev, professor of Toraygyrov University, told about the history of Kazakhstan during the years of repressions. The participants were shown excerpts from the videos depicting the dark years and the hardships of famine. The event was attended by cadets of the Military Technical School and students of the Higher College of Pavlodar Pedagogical University named after M. Kanapiyanov.
