Book and illustration exhibition “Ulttyk kundylyktar - elimizdin rukhani kazynasy”

Kazakhstan has interesting culinary traditions. Kazakh national cuisine is historically based on the nomadic lifestyle of the Kazakhs. It has absorbed much from other cultures, but has not lost its foundations. The national cuisine is unique and, of course, is one of the important elements of life in Kazakhstan. Most traditional dishes of Kazakh cuisine are hearty meat and flour dishes. Lamb, beef, horse meat, and less often camel meat are widely used for preparing dishes. The book exhibition presents about 50 publications that reveal the secrets of preparing Kazakh dishes: meat dishes, dairy dishes, flour products. Colorful albums with descriptions and photographs of dishes are presented: “Kazakh national cuisine”, “Dastarkhan”, “Dishes of national cuisine”, etc.
