Lecture "Origins of Nizami's poetry"

On the 14th of April was held a lecture "The sources of Nizami's poetry" from the cycle "Zheti zhurttyn tilin bil" with the participation of teachers and pupils of the Azerbaijanian branch of school of National revival named after K. Darjuman.

Teacher Ibrahimova Sadizi Sadigizi acquainted pupils of school-lyceum No. 8 for gifted children with history and development of Azeri language, culture and customs of people, lyrics of great poets of Caucasus: Shirvani, Javid, Nizami.

Songs were performed by "Ara" ensemble members, and traditional Azerbaijani national dances were performed: "Innabi" and "Gytgylyda". The exhibition of works of arts and crafts and literature in Azerbaijani language aroused great interest of the audience.
