Leningrad Victory Day
On February 11, the lesson of courage, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the lifting of the blockade of Leningrad for the students of the Children's Village of family type was held by the staff of the Children reading centre named after S. Bayazitov together with Pavlodar search research team "Maidan zholy".
The members of the Pavlodar search research team "Maidan zholy" Shitov Alexander Vladimirovich, Mukushev Bolat Sergalievich, spoke about the search activities, the contribution and participation of the Kazakh people in the battles for Leningrad, the importance of preserving the memory of the victims and heroes of the battles for the younger generation.
The head of the center Asemgul Aulbaeva gave a review of the books, which contain material specifically about the main battles of the Great Patriotic War, and the landmark work of Zhambul Zhabaev, dedicated to the people of Leningrad.
Students of the 7th grade of GES No. 26 Ratmir Borodikhin and Nikita Prikhodko demonstrated and explained the purpose of all items that were found by the searchers of "Maidan zholy" during one of the Memory Waches in the Leningrad region. Participants of the event asked questions that interested them, viewed the photo-archives and exhibits with great interest, some asked to go on a search expedition with the team.
