Librarians are Marked with the Breastplate "Khalyk Qurmeti"

Saule Gabdulzhaparovna Osmanova, acting head of the Regional Department of Culture, Development of Languages and Archives handed over the badges "Khalyk Qurmeti" to librarians.

For contribution in increasing the spiritual potential of residents and readers of the region, the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on behalf of the public association "Alliance of Libraries of Kazakhstan", awarded the badge "Khalyk Qurmeti" to the library staff who made a significant contribution to the development of librarianship in the region.

Among them are Sholpan Shakhmetova, head of the Regional Library named after S. Toraigyrov; Marina Zolotukhina, head of the Children's Literature Department of the Regional Library; Asem Nurgalieva; head of the Acquisition Department of the Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired Citizens of the Pavlodar region; Gulzhamal Aitmagambetova, head of the Methodological Department of the Centralized Library System of the Bayanaul district.

It is known that in connection with the imposition of a state of emergency in the country due to the global coronavirus pandemic, the country's libraries this year have moved their traditional services for readers to online platforms. Librarians of the region and districts continue to work in this direction.

Libraries provide reference, informational, bibliographic, educational and cultural events in a new format, providing readers and residents of the region remotely.

At the moment, the service of readers has been resumed in compliance with all sanitary requirements.
