Seminar for library specialists of the region

On February 13 the seminar of library specialists of the region on the results of 2022 and the planning for 2023 "Libraries of the Pavlodar region in 2022: achievements and prospects" was held.

A.A. Zhilkibekova, head of the Library Development Department spoke about the transformation of libraries in the Pavlodar region in 2022; M.Zh. Isakaeva, a methodologist, pointed out successful library projects of the CLS of the region. A.Zh. Bayazova, the director of the CLS, described the work of the libraries of Irtysh district on local history. In her presentation "A new format of rural libraries. Communication centers", Z.S. Kabbasova, director of the Terenkol district CLS, shared her experience in opening communication centers in rural libraries.

Summary of the results of the regional competition "Reading region — 2022" was held, the winner of which was unanimously chosen by the jury — the CLS of Zhelezinsk district for the project "The book tree of generations".

The seminar was attended by directors and methodologists of the regional CLS, and heads of departments of the regional library named after S. Toraigyrov.
