Online Conference "Indexation and Systematization of National Resources by Universal Decimal Classification"

On September 17, an online conference was organized within the framework of the "School of the Cataloguer" on the topic: " Indexation and Systematization of National Resources by Universal Decimal Classification " (UDC), organized by the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Almaty) and the Pavlodar Regional Universal Scientific Library named after S. Toraigyrov.

The online conference was attended by specialists from the information resources service of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Almaty), specialists from the Regional Library named after S. Toraigyrov, librarians of the Central Library System of districts and cities - 177 people in total.

Specialists of the information resources service of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan spoke about the indexation and systematization of national resources by the universal decimal classification (UDC). Methodological recommendations were given on the transfer of funds and catalogs to UDC and answers to exciting questions that arise during the arrangement of the book fund, work with catalogs.
