Opening of India Corner
On November 15, the opening of the Corner of India took place, which became a significant event for the promotion of cultural exchange and cooperation between our countries.
India is one of the first countries to establish diplomatic relations with the Republic of Kazakhstan. Every year, the ties between the two countries in the field of culture and science are becoming more active.
The opening of the corner contributes to the expansion of cultural dialogue, strengthening cooperation and spiritual ties between Kazakhstan and India.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Honorary Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan, Dr. Nagendra Prasad, Director of the Swami Vivekananda Sanjay Vedi Center, creative intelligentsia, library readers.
The Kazakh dance "Kerbez arular" was performed at the event by the dance ensemble "Sherniyaz" of the Isa Bayzakov Regional Philharmonic Society, the choreographer of the Swami Vivekananda Vidyagauri Cultural Center Hemant Adkar, the Indian dance "Kathak", Abai's poems in Kazakh and English were recited by students of the boarding gymnasium named after Y.Altynsarina Marden Alinur, Ardageldi Akzhan, the song "Atameken" was performed by the singer of the Isa Bayzakov Regional Philharmonic Serik Rysbek.
An exhibition of paintings by Pavlodar artist Svetlana Kravchenko "Colors of India" and an exhibition of books about the history, culture, traditions and customs of the Indian people were organized in the Aina Gallery.
