An informative evening “The World of Uyghur Traditions”

On November 22, 2022 the library hosted an informative evening “The World of Uyghur traditions” with the participation of NGO "Pavlodar regional Uyghur national-cultural center "Shatlik".

The center's chairwoman, Shakhadat Bekova, spoke about the history of the Uyghur people, recited poems about the homeland, and conducted a quiz called "Getting to Know Uyghur Culture. The Evrishim Dance Ensemble performed national Uyghur dances.

An exhibition of decorative-applied art of the Uigur people and a book exhibition “Culture and Traditions of the Uigur People” were prepared for the participants of the evening, students of the Pavlodar College of Service Industry.
