The presentation of the collection of poems "Tauelsizdikke tartu"

On December 9, in the Regional Library named after S. Toraigyrov was summed up the results of the regional poetry competition "Tauelsizdikke Tartu" and the presentation of the new poetry collection of the same name. The poetry competition "Tauelsizdikke tartu" was announced at the beginning of the year by the Regional Library and the regional branch of the Writers Union of Kazakhstan.

There have been more than 40 applications for participation in the contest since the beginning of the year. The participants sent about 60 poems. Members of the competition committee consisting of known, respected poets of our region chosen the best poems that were included in the new poetry collection "Tauelsizdikke Tartu". Works were estimated in two age categories: the first category from 7 to 15 years old and the second category from 16 to 30 years old. Accordingly, prizes were distributed according to the age criterion.

The event was attended by Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Language Development and Archives - Tauaskan Medet Alpysbaevich, a member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, Honorary Citizen of Bayanaul, May district, winner of the International Literary Award "Alash", poet - Kani Arman Baktanovich, poet, juror - Constantin Lunin, project participants and readers. Participants of the Competition were awarded diplomas, certificates, and letters of thanks.
