Start of the Book Week

On March 24th in the center of children's reading named after S. Bayazitov the opening of the Week of children's and youth books was held. Every year during the spring break are held fun competitions, literary quests, meetings with authors and creative activities. Today, inquisitive and well-read readers took part in a quiz "Fairyland. Do you know where it is?".

The program of the day continued with the exhibition of author's toys, characters of favorite children's books. Ludmila Vladimirovna Kostyuchenko told about the history and technology of making toys out of absorbent cotton. The children under the guidance of Lyudmila Vladimirovna tried to create their own toys.

There was also honoring of the most active readers. In memory of today the children received sweet prizes, books and thank you letters from the library.
