Corruption is a negative phenomenon of modern society that requires constant careful study, a systematic approach, comprehensive and operational counteraction. The level and scale of corruption existing in the country restrains economic development, negatively affects the investment climate, reduces the country's image, and international interest in cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this regard, the fight against corruption is the main priority for our country.
The National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented a joint project with the Anti-Corruption Agency and the Ministry of Culture and Sports "Parasat Zholy" ("The Road of Integrity").
"Parasat Zholy" - this is another project aimed at the formation of the principles of honesty, integrity, justice, as well as the promotion of the values of national culture and spirituality in society got its start in the capital.
The Library Development Department (ORB) of the S. Toraigyrov Regional Library has developed guidelines for regional libraries to help promote the fight against corruption "Sybailas - zhemkorlyksyz Alem", which provides guidelines on organizational issues, topics of "round tables", debates, book exhibitions, advice on legal literacy and competitions. A list of regulatory documents on this topic, and the text of the Memorandum of mutual cooperation between the Department of Pavlodar region on combating corruption and the Department of Culture, Development of Languages and Archival Affairs of Pavlodar Region are given.
