Themed week «First graders in the library»

From 6th to 12th of February the workers of the Children reading centre named after S. Bayazitov R.A. Galimova and D.S. Rakhimjanova conducted the thematic week "First graders in the library" for the first grade students of GES No. 39 of innovative type with gymnasium classes, GES No. 21, GES No. 26, GES named after Akhmet Baitursynov of innovative type, GES named after Mukhtar Auezov.

During the vacation, the following library lessons were conducted for the first graders: "Library is a book house", "Reference literature", " You can find out about everything in magazines", "Territory of knowledge".

The children were introduced to encyclopedias and dictionaries, listened to musical audiobooks, took an active part in quizzes on fiction books, an intellectual game "Brainstorm", the Kazakh national game "Asyk atu", etc. Workshops on making creative bookmarks "Pencil" and "Bunny" in the origami technique were held.

Also, three on-site library lessons were held for first graders to motivate them to read and attract children to the library.
