The hour of patriotism “We are proud of you, Kazakhstan!”

On December 9, on the eve of Independence Day, employees of the Department of Literature of the Regional Library in secondary school No. 39 for students of 8th grades conducted an hour of patriotism “We are proud of you, Kazakhstan!”

Pupils listened to information about the formation of Kazakhstan as a new state on the political map of the world and watched the video clip “Independent Kazakhstan”. Schoolchildren read verses about Kazakhstan by the classics of children's literature. The “Do you know Kazakhstan?” quiz continued the event. At the end, the schoolchildren got acquainted with the books presented at the book exhibition “Men óz elіmnіń patrıotymyn!”.
