The “Inclusive Environment: Problems, Findings, Solutions” round table

On February 12, employees of the children's literature department took part in the work of the round table “Inclusive Environment: Problems, Findings, Solutions,” which was held at the Bilim Innovation Lyceum for gifted youths in association with the Association of Parents of Autistic Children PF.

The purpose of the round table is to summarize and discuss work experience on this topic, to resolve contentious issues related to the problem of fulfilling special conditions for including children with autism in the school environment. Psychologists, educators, librarians, students, and parents of children with ASD came to share their experiences.

The participants of the event were: Shamshitov Ratbek and Nurakhmetov Almas, students of 11 grade of the Bilim - Innovation boarding school; E.O. Zhukova, director of Public Foundation “Association of Parents of Autistic Children”; B.Zh. Autalipova, senior lecturer of the department of psychological and pedagogical support of the educational process of the branch of JSC "NCDP" IDHR PW in Pavlodar region; Zh.T. Aubakirova, curator of the project for intensive training of children with special educational needs of the speech therapy educational center; I.S. Kamardina, deputy head of educational work with the wards of boarding school No. 1 for children with hearing and speech impairment; V.Yu. Shamsutdinova, psychologist of the crisis center of the service of psychological assistance to the population of Pavlodar region; Milena Ilchenko, 2 "B" grade pupil of secondary school No. 39; O.V. Ilchenko, psychologist "Nursery - kindergarten No. 116".

Summing up the results of the round table, it was decided: to promote the cooperation of educational organizations with public and parent organizations and other social partners, the scope of which includes escorting children with disabilities and children with disabilities; to promote the effective promotion of the ideas of an inclusive environment, the conceptual approach of which is that a child with special needs is equal in rights to an ordinary child and has the inalienable right to study with his comrades and peers in the same educational system; adoption of inclusion principles in society through support for the implementation of socially-oriented projects together with educational organizations.

In the end, certificates were presented to all participants in the round table.
