The "Letter from the Front-line" project has ended

The project completed and became a logical continuation of work with the virtual museum "Erlikke Tagzym". It was dedicated to the courage and heroism of the Pavlodar participants of the Great Patriotic War and aimed at reviving social memory.

More than 50 letters from Pavlodar front-line soldiers were read by our friends - writers, poets, journalists, TV and radio presenters, scientists, teachers, theater and film actors, fellow librarians from different departments, students, representatives of ethnocultural centers of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan, creative youth - dancers, artists , actors of youth theater studios, bloggers. Each of them let through all the feelings experienced by young people of Pavlodar in a foreign land. More than 500 letters written to mothers, fathers, brides and wives, friends and fellow villagers are kept in our virtual museum, the marathon lasted for more than 8 months, and we hope that the project helped the young generation to better understand the feelings of front-line soldiers and the enormity of this wild war. The Regional Library named after S. Toraigyrov thanks all the participants of the "Letter from the Front-line" project and wishes all the best!
