Grand meeting for the 125th anniversary of the regional library

On December 3, on the 125th anniversary of the regional library named after S. Toraigyrov, there was held a grand meeting "Kitaphana - izgilik mekeni".

The event was attended by Samal Begalinova, head of the Department of Culture, Language Development and Archives, veterans of the library and the library employees.

The breastplate "Yenbek danky" was awarded to Maya Jienbaeva, who headed the main library of the region for 38 years, and Nazym Shaikenova, a veteran librarian. Barshagul Baizhanova, the head, was awarded the breastplate "Kazakstan kurmetti kitaphanashysy". Veterans and employees of the regional library named after S. Toraigyrov were awarded with honorary diplomas and letters of thanks of the regional Mayor, Department of Culture, Language Development and Archives, National Library of the RK (Almaty city), National Academic Library of the RK (Nur-Sultan city).
