History lesson «Batyr Kasym»

On April 20, the regional library named after S. Toraigyrov held a history lesson "Batyr Kasym", dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the outstanding son of the Kazakh people, writer, guerrilla fighter, Hero of the Nation Kasym Kaisenov as part of the festival "Reading Pavlodar". The participants of the event learned a lot about the military exploits of the legendary batyr and of how he became a writer. Kasym Kaisenov is considered to be the founder of the guerrilla theme in Kazakh literature. K. Kaisenov's works and books about him were presented at the exhibition "Urpaktar zhadynda — In Memory of Generations". A video capturing the hero himself and his memories was shown.
