Evening of Poetry "Shabyt Zhyry"

On May 30th, as part of the project "Day of the Centralized Library System (CLS) at the Regional Library," an evening of poetry called "Shabyt Zhyry" was held at the S. Toraygyrov Regional Library, organized by the May Centralized Library System. The event featured the presentation of the book "Eki zhol" by Abu Zharkynuly and a musical program titled "Time of Music and Poetry."

Library specialists from the May district acquainted the readers and guests of the event with the writer's creativity, reciting excerpts from the book "Eki zhol." The young author's poems on time, homeland, and patriotism were also recited. Poet-singer Kurmetzhan Erbak, singer, musician, aitysker, and winner of international competitions Zhiger Boken, and performer Omargazy Tleukhan took the stage.

Representatives of the creative intelligentsia were invited to the evening, including poet and member of the Union of Writers and Journalists of Kazakhstan, Aibek Oralkhan; member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, poet, winner of regional and republican contests, and the responsible secretary of the literary journal "Naizatas," Elaman Kabdylashim; and satirical poet and winner of the literary award "Altyn qalam," Alpysbai Khonzh.

In the future, within the framework of the project at the S. Toraygyrov Regional Library, the "Day of the CLS at the Regional Library," work will continue in this direction, where the CLS of the region will share their experience in the main library of the region and present their best projects.
