Meeting of the club «Fialochka»: «Breeding and genetic engineering. Transgenic plants»

On April 11, a meeting of the amateur flower growers club «Fialochka» was held. Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor of the NAO «Toraigyrov University» Kamkin Viktor Aleksandrovich was invited to a meeting with flower lovers.

The scientist shared the main directions of biotechnological work - cultivation and collection of medicinal plants. He spoke about the possibility of using plants in the prevention and treatment of human and animal diseases.

The club members shared their knowledge about the benefits of some plants. At the end of the event, it was said that the issue of the use of medicinal plants should be approached responsibly, after consultation with a specialist. All those present during the event were given bookmarks with recipes for preparing medicinal infusions.
